I have worked for RO since 2010 and have overall responsibility for the management of Realising Opportunities and the work of the Central Team. I graduated from the University of Durham in 2002, and previously worked in Student Recruitment and Widening Participation at Newcastle University.

Tanya Harrison

Assistant Project Manager

I joined the team in 2011 and I am responsible for the day to day management of RO. Having previously worked for Aimhigher, I have 14 years experience of working with students and a range of partner organisations to support young people in their progression to higher education.

Amy Lively

Project Coordinator

I started working for RO in September 2013 after graduating from Newcastle University with an MA in History of the Americas. Before this I completed a BA in History also at Newcastle University. I'm responsible for assisting with the delivery of the RO Programme, working closely with both students participating in RO and the RO universities.

Charlotte Crossley

Project Assistant (Programme)

I joined RO in August 2016, after previously working in development and alumni relations at Durham University. I studied BA English at Durham University. My main responsibilities include maintenance of the RO website, the ementoring portal, student queries, and social media.

Laura Martin

Project Assistant (Partnership)

I started my role in the RO team in September 2016 having worked in Student Recruitment and Widening Participation throughout my time in HE. I joined Newcastle University in 2013 as a recent graduate from UCLan and worked in different roles within both Modern Languages and Computing Science. My main responsibilities within the team include administrative and technical support to the RO students and Partner Universities including overseeing programme recruitment, database development and data management.
